Overview
The Committee is constituted in accordance with the provisions of the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 to ensure a safe, secure and respectful working and learning environment within the University.
The Committee is responsible for addressing complaints related to sexual harassment at the workplace and for promoting awareness about gender equality, dignity and professional conduct among employees and students.
Objectives:
- To provide a safe and secure working environment for women employees and students.
- To prevent incidents of sexual harassment within the University campus.
- To provide a confidential and impartial Grievance Redressal Mechanism.
- To promote awareness about gender sensitivity and workplace ethics.
